| 内容記述 | 18世紀初頭に編纂された『四言語対訳小辞典』に収録されているラトヴィア語の中には、多数の中期低地ドイツ語借用語が含まれている。本稿では借用語として定着したドイツ語名詞が、どのような性別交替を示すかを調査する。今回対象とするのは「手工業と職人」関連語彙である。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This note deals with the lexical loans of Middle Low German origin, focusing primarily on the gender alternation of their Latvianized nouns all belonging to the vocabulary of craftwork recorded in the 1705 Worter=Buchlein. The gender assignment of the original German neuter nouns in particular must have posed a notional process of irregular and novel gender alternation to the native Latvians, a detailed research of which, however, is yet to be carried out. | |||||||||
